LG OLED55B8PUA 55'-Class HDR UHD Smart OLED TV View content at four times the resolution of 1080p with the LG B8PUA-Series 55'-Class HDR UHD Smart OLED TV. It has a 54.6' OLED display for enhanced black levels and virtually infinite contrast. The LG B8 has an excellent wide color gamut as it covers an impressive amount of the DCI P3 color space and also performs very well in Rec 2020. These results are nearly identical to the C8. In the Cinema HDR picture mode the TV's EOTF follows the target PQ curve fairly closely, until it starts to roll off gradually to the TV's peak brightness.
Saw some reviews with similar issues, Risk versus RewardI believe Greentoe has a good model that has the potential to deliver significant savings to the user. However, I do not believe the system is well designed to manage problems or glitches.
I ordered a TV for $3000. Upon arrival of the TV, I unpacked it per the reseller's instructions and found the screen to be broken. I rejected the TV back to the shipper and that is where the challenges began.
The delivery company did not know how to manage the return. Greentoe has no control over the process once they hand the deal over to the reseller.and thus cannot provide any assistance. Greentoe also does not have live customer service. You can only reach them through email. It took nearly 4 weeks, and multiple calls and emails to get a refund from the reseller. If you are patient and willing to take a chance on a trouble free delivery, Greentoe may be for you. If you are not willing to take a chance on delivery or having your money tied up for a long period of time.you may want to stick with a big box store and pay a bit more.
Quotefrom svinokot:Green toe if they counter offer you will not include tax if the authorized seller charges it in you state. It will be added to your counter offer price.Your statement is not accurate. I bought a 77 c8p from them last week. The counter they sent me was the total price I would have to pay.
It then broke it down more and showed me retailer counter and tax, but the main number they showed was the total/final number. You make it sound like they send a counter and then you add tax on top, but that's not how it works.
