I just installed Cubase Pro 10 today and I'm having this problem. My computer is a Windows 10 system (64 bit). I checked for audio driver updates and there are none. I restarted my computer twice.
I used the audio troubleshooter in Windows. What I discovered is that my audio on my computer, including streaming online, works perfectly after I restart UNTIL I open Cubase. After Cubase opens, I can't get any sound out of my computer. I actually haven't even tried doing anything in Cubase yet (except I wanted to watch a tutorial video but it linked to YouTube where I got my first ever audio renderer error).
Not only does YouTube not work, but I can't even play anything in iTunes or anything else. Cubase will be totally useless to me if I can't hear anything. I've spent a lot of money on this software and on a course to learn how to use it, so it's ridiculous that I can't get any sound out of my computer. How have others resolved this problem?

'audio renderer error. Please restart your computer' error youtube:Hey guys I am getting an error in windows 10 on youtube in both chrome and other browsers.
Hey guys I am getting an error in windows 10 on youtube in both chrome and other browsers. What is so strange is any video on youtube will play for around 4-5 seconds and then suddenly I will get this error on the device.Does anyone have any idea what could be the problem and a suggested fix?
I have updated the audio drivers on the laptop and they are current. Tried rebooting etc.Searched online and surprisingly haven't seen much on this error. I can't tell if it is from youtube or through windows.Thanks:).
Error: No work available to processHmm. Either it's put out errors and WCG is limiting the work units available, or the project list may not be set to supply other WU when one runs out. (if the problem lies here and not on your end)On the options to your left, if you go into Results Status, select the computer from Device Name and then look through results see if either they were returned late, errors or any other kind of issue that would stop the servers supplying WU from that perspective. If there are no errors then it's maybe down to your project list.
So selecting Device Manager from the left menu and then clicking on the profile assigned to that computer and make sure that it's assigned to receive WU for other projects if they run out.At least those steps will rule out problems from the WCG end.
